While I go through our hundreds of pictures (literally) from our CO-AZ trip, I wanted to do a general update on our day to day.....
We don't own a push mower....I accidentally bought a riding mower a few years ago for $100. I'm awesome. So we use it for our yard even though it's probs overkill. I'm not very good at doing straight lines but I enjoy it anyway! And it makes Bryce proud when I do it. (PS- don't look at my weeds....I'm serious don't. Although maybe you should because they're as tall as corn stalks right now so what is in the picture is actually awesome!)
Bryce is still killin' it flying, and loving it.
We had a ton of rain, flooding and tornados in our area this spring-early summer. It was craziness. Our backyard flooded several times and twice it flooded my art studio. Lucky nothing was damaged!
One Sunday on our way home from Bryce's parents we came upon this portion of the road flooded over. The barbed wire fencing had come down completely and we didn't know the state of the actual road. I had on flip flops and I felt like it would be an adventure, so I went out to assess the road and find the fencing. We didn't want to run over it and pop a tire and we didn't want to get stuck if the road wasn't passable.
It was another pretty proud moment for Bryce. He loves me.
This pic I just found among all Bryce's photos. We've had intensely worse weather than what is shown but....here it is anyway...
A couple weeks ago our new neighbor's dog wandered onto our porch. She doesn't even look big in the pic but she's ginormous and the most friendly dog ever! Her owner was at work when she got out so we kept her in our backyard until he got home.
And last, but not least ( don't ask me why) but Bryce made sure to take this of me after I had said I wasn't hungry for dinner. He thought it was immensely funny.
