65 Day Book of Mormon Challenge

So I just completed the challenge to read The Book of Mormon in the same amount of time that it took Joseph Smith to translate it....65 days!

Now, to finish it in that amount of time you have to ready about 8 1/2 pages per day so to make it easy I did 10 pages per day and finished in 53 days!

I used a brand new missionary Book of Mormon so I could mark it up and make notes as I went. Then I wrote notes in my own journal for myself.

But my sisters wanted to do the challenge and asked if I had a chart. I didn't have one so I looked online and couldn't find one that isn't already assigned to certain days of the year.

So I made my own! I made it for 9 pages per day but left a blank space for each day so you can record where you get to each day if it's different than the sheet OR if you want to make a bug far Check Mark when you finish each day! :)

IF YOU WANT THE ACTUAL DOCUMENT JUST EMAIL ME (or comment) AND I'LL EMAIL YOU THE DOCUMENT (so it won't be fuzzy!).

This really is an amazing challenge to take.   Reading and studying slow is important but every once in a while doing a challenge like this and reading it quickly helps with the perspective--with seeing this history as one big plan and seeing the gospel as presented my the Lord's prophets is wonderful!

Anyway, if you decide to take the challenge too, feel free to use the chart!
Xoxo
