Her face and...an explanation

Here's a detail of her face and hair for you all.
Jana suggested last night putting in more detail in her hair...individual strands in her highlights and stuff. So...I did. Just like two minutes ago. :)
I know I've posted like 50 times...I apologize. But...whatever.
So her hair--you like?

My explanation is that of the symbol. It's the African symbol meaning Unity.
It'd made up of to alligators-one with the head at the top, tail at the bottom and
the other with its head at the left, tail at the right. It's a really cool symbol actually when you
can see then entire thing.
So between her and the symbol you can make it what you like...

  1. The hair is perfect! That's just what I was thinking...just making it look more like strands of hair rather than ribbons.

  2. WOW! This is really beautiful! The hair really does look fabulous. the cornrows look so cool and yet they are hardly there! You just know exactly what they look like! And I love the big hair in the back it is lovely. I think it is probably your best work on a person. Remember a couple of years back when you tried to paint a face here at home and you got all frustrated and wouldn't finish it or keep trying????? Isn't it crazy that you can so THIS when that was so hard back then? You have grown in your talent so tremendously. I'm just so PROUD I could BUST!!!! Wonder if I can print the picture....
