In the last two weeks we've had a couple very (seemingly) promising birth mothers contact us and had us scrambling to figure out how to pay upwards of $30k for the adoption.
Those fell through for different reasons. But since it got us thinking about finances, my super amazing family started thinking with us.
Christine and her kids (Natalie, Josh, Jessica, Melissa and Amanda) jumped right on it and baked ALL DAY last Sunday. All kids of treats and goodies and lemonade. Then spend ALL DAY on Monday selling!
And christine printed out these awesome cards that they have out to their customers as a thank you!
And finally...:all the dough they raked in!!!
They did it all as a surprise! They skyped us Monday night saying they had a surprise.
We were floored and I wanted to cry. I have the most supportive loving family I could ever ask for. The idea of these kids going to so much time and effort to help us start our family.... It touches our hearts and makes us want to cry, again! We have neices and nephews praying and fasting for us constantly as well. I just can't say how much it means to us that we have so much love and support.
So, THANK YOU Natalie, Josh, Jessica, Melissa, Amanda and Christine!!!! We love you so much! Xoxox
PS- Though we had three circumstances fall through this last week, we are currently talking with a wonderful girl who is considering adoption. We feel blessed to be in contact her and will just see where it goes!
