{IVF/FET: Rounds 1, 2 and 3. Neeeedles and scripts}

Remember how I told you I was done with fertility injections forEVER?!?!

Well, I'm a procrastinator and never disposed of my filled sharps containers after each IVF/FET cycle.

I was actually glad of it because O wanted to take some pics for a little perspective.

Here are all those containers that have been stored in a box in my closet plus the one I just took off the dresser after this last round.

And here's what I looked like when I dumped them all out:
(Mind you, that's only about half of the prescription bottles I actually used and doesn't show any of the patches, birth control, crinone gel, or vitamin bottles I've gone through)

If my body could have handled the progesterone injections, there would be way more of those light blue huge needles on the left. But my body doesn't like them (kind of thankfully) and so that's why I use crinone (not shown).

So... That's awesome that I'm done hey?

I know others go through worse though. Some on a daily basis because of illness or injury or fertility issues. We've been very blessed and I'm not complaining about all of this. It's just for myself for a little perspective of what we've been through and overcome. :) I'm thankful The Lord has seen us through and that we've had the ability and opportunity to try a such extensive and expensive treatments.

It's been quite a ride.

You are even tougher than I thought. If this baby is a boy you should name him tuf! My mom wants me to name our tuf. But it fits so much better for you with everything you've overcome. I love you!

Wow! You're one tough lady. I know mine was for a different reason but it was so exciting for me to throw away my sharps container and not have my bedroom looking like a pharmacy. Yay! For being done with all that stuff.
