TEXAS LOVIN

If you don't already know....I'm seriously in love with living in Texas. And especially living in the country. Bryce loves it here too but since he grew up in "flat", he now loves and misses the mountains. I'm the opposite. I grew up in the mountains and I'm loving the flat so so soooo much.

I've decided that it's because it's calming
This first picture was one of the first I took of the flat-love when we moved here almost two years ago.
{out at Bryce's parent's Ranch in Era, TX}

This pic was taken from inside the house through a screen window. I just love the golds and greens...
 Seriously now??? I'm in love.
One day I'll actually get out there at 5am to paint on site.......
This is the view that made me love the country life and love Texas. It's another one from the Ranch from inside the house. I remember the first morning I woke up when I was visiting, I looked out the window and the dew on the grass and trees was glittering (yes! glittering) in the sun and everything was so green and then the fog just makes everything look amazing.....I felt like I was living in a fairytale land. Again, yes, I'm that much of a little girl still.

And proud of it.
 F.O.G.
Love it.
 From the airplane...
On Bryce's birthday/St. Patrick's day just north of Sanger, TX (on the way from our house to Bryce's parent's house).  That field was NEON green. It was amazing.
At the ranch. Hay up to my waist. So cool....
 Our street. :) Tree love.
 Our home!!! :) Green love.
I'm a horrible person and take pictures while I'm driving because, let's face it, I'm in the car for about an hour and a half each day, minimum......

On my way to work. Sky looks like this about half of the time.
Krum, TX, between our house and the store.
 Our house.
 Our street...again. I'm obsessed.
At Bryce's work. At the Denton, TX airport. Standing just inside the hanger. Storm coming!
 Texas storm love.

Super dangerous to fly in but I love when the rays come through the clouds like that. 3rd Nephi!!!

Basic day at our home. Sunday afternoons. :)
Back at the Davies Ranch. Hay bales are all gone!
We own a riding lawn mower. True Texans. Yes, that's me. My poor parents don't know where they went wrong. ;)
Our home...again. FOG. I can't stand it, it's so gorgeous.

  3. Gorgeous photos!! When you told us you were moving to Texas suddenly, out of the blue, with no solid plan - I was really sad you were leaving but the stronger feeling I had was that it was completely the right thing for you two. Even more so now, I feel like it was the right crazy thing to do. Kudos on following the Spirit and moving forward with faith so you could end up where you're meant to be. :)
