{FET Cycle: Lupron injections} Feels like we've done this before....

It's a funny thing-- a FET cycle (Frozen Embryo Transfer) takes just as long as a fresh IVF cycle. You'd think since you already did all the simulation and egg retrieval that it would be shorter but, no ma'am! It takes just as long to prep your body!
We just finished our Lupron injections. We did them for 2 weeks (after being on birth control). Lupron injections are used for a fresh IVF cycle as well so this wasn't new for us.

Here's what the medication schedule looks like that they give you before you're ready to start. That was an exciting day for me, when they email it to me. It makes it so much more real!

I have a large calendar on my dresser that I transferred all the info onto for myself. I like seeing it in actual calendar form. Plus I love to check things off. :)

I started using a caboodle (hilarious word and always reminds me of growing up the in 90s.) when Bryce and I went camping while on the injections, and I've continued to use it. Looks much nicer on my dresser than when it was just spread al over in boxes and bags.

This pic is of my last day of Lupron injection. Gotta celebrate! :)

Baby here we come!!

I am impressed x1,000,000,099 that you did shots by yourself!!!!! Ah! I never did that! Cam did every single one. You are a REAL woman. Wow. Major props. So excited for you!

Kristin, what a sweet hubby! :) Bryce did a good portion of them for me-especially when we were doing the stims because it was just so much and he has a really steady hand. And then after the transfer and the OHSS, they prescribed a new injection in order to shrink my ovaries back down and I was inwardly so mad about it so he did them for me. I pretty much refused to touch them. lol
Thanks for the props!!! :) xoxo
