for everyone else:REASON:
On Wednesday, Bryce took me out on a date. He got home from work and got showered and changed and we jumped in the car with the picnic dinner he asked me to pack so it would be ready. The drive took 25 mins and he made me cover
my eyes a bunch of times so i wouldn't see where we were going before we got there.
We drove down through Hyrum and through Paradise (both very small towns just south of Logan) and through some Hill-y areas that totally reminded me of MO because it was so green and beautiful! One part reminded me of Old State Rd (for anyone who knows that area of MO) because the green green trees created arches over the little curvy road. it was SO PRETTY!
Then we went up through more canyon-ish areas and then came up to what i guessed as being a dam and of course a lake but Bryce said No No, not it. You'll see.
lol it was a RESERVOIR. sorry! haha. It's this little lake/reservoir called Porcupine Reservoir. It's tucked way up in the canyon far away from everything. It's BEAUtiful!!
He found this place while i was out of
town-down in Flagstaff for Bethi's wedding. He loves Google Earth, so he was playing around on it and found the area,
figured out how to get there and drove all the way
there on Sat. to check it out. He found a spot that's kinda
sandy...rocky...lol. but almost looks like a little mini beach right along the shore.
So we got up there and put down a blanket and ate our little dinner out there. It was AWEsome!!! I was so excited that it was a surprise!!! I always
guess/figure out what he's going to do but i had No Idea this time!!! :) dang he just makes me happy!!!

Holy cow, that looks so gorgeous! Aren't dates wonderful. So fun. By the way, have you seen Get Smart? Saw it last night. so hilarious, you should see it if you haven't
You two are such double-champs-squared. Why were you a champion? Oh yeah for making a good dinner in the crock pot.
I want to live in Logan now! I'm so jealous. What a champ your hubby is to find such a gorgie-oh-so place to take you.
That is sooo adorable, and what a gorgeous place!!!
Ok - so I seriously want to buy a bunch of your books! let me give you my email - so we can chat about what books and prices etc:) kristilthom at gmail dot com. YAY!I have a serious addiction to books! I figure I can pay you for them and maybe Bethi and Derek can bring 'em down sometime:) (which means she could probably read them first).
It was great to see you this past weekend! Wasn't it awesome????
How awesome! And I loved Old State Rd. too.
Me too! I love Old state! Except thinking about the winter when Emily spun off the road on the ice and missed all the trees and didn't get killed. BUt it is a pretty road. And How wonderful to have a hubby who loves beautiful places like you do! It is so great to really enjoy beautiful things together! You picked good.
